In the Scriptures, Oil is symbolic of the Holy Spirit. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is the key to spiritually overcoming adversity and pain in the life of sincere follower's of Jesus Christ, especially when the mind is under attack because of tests, trials and tribulations that heavily afflict the soul.
A car engine needs oil to keep it lubricated to reduce friction and over heating. The Holy Spirit does the same for our hearts when we yield to his presence in our lives. Joy comes! The Peace of God that passes all understanding floods the heart in the midst of the storm.
Are you a sincere follower of Jesus Christ? Do you need FRESH OIL in your life? Ask! Seek! Knock! The Lord will fill you if you seek him with your whole heart. God is faithful!
